Nelson Bradley Window Masonic Building Greenfield Indiana
The window was held together by duct tape and plywood when work began.  The window was stabilized, put on a cradle workbench and restoration started.  Glass was removed as needed, cleaned, lead replaced, putty was added and the window was rebuilt.  The rebar and tie offs were cleaned and replaced where needed.  The sill plate was replaced, the window was secured by glazier points and glazed into the frame.  The last step was to put Nelson back into place.  The hand painted center piece of Nelson Bradley was wrapped in lead and carefully soldered to the window as a veneer.
Installation
The window was place on two genie lifts, with scaffolding in the center to stabilize.  It was slowly raised to the sill plate, slid into place and attached to the wood frame.
The process took a little over 3 hours to get the window lifted and set plumb and level.  Additional shims were added and the next step will be to finish the trim.  The three lower rectangle windows of stained glass masonic symbols will be installed soon.
